Terms of service

By creating an account or using Keelix at keelix.app, you agree to these terms. If you are using Keelix on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

Keelix is a web application for modeling how identity systems map to a canonical model of people, groups, and roles, and for planning SCIM provisioning, schema-drift reports, playbooks, and audit exports from that model. Keelix has no live integrations with identity systems and does not synchronize, orchestrate, or provision anything in your real systems. It is a design and planning tool.

You sign in through our authentication provider. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly at legal@keelix.app if you believe your account has been compromised. Workspace owners and admins control who else can access a workspace and at what role.

You agree not to:

• ·Upload personal data about individuals into Keelix. Keelix is for modeling system schemas, not storing rosters or per-person records. Keep people data out.
• ·Use Keelix to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or violate your own organization’s obligations.
• ·Attempt to breach tenant isolation, access another customer’s workspace, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without authorization.
• ·Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
• ·Resell or sublicense the service except as expressly permitted.

You own the workspace content you create or import: systems, attributes, mappings, profiles, SCIM plans, and playbooks. You grant Keelix the limited license needed to host, process, render, and back up that content so we can provide the service to you. We don’t use your content to train models, for advertising, or for any purpose beyond operating Keelix for you.

Keelix is an open beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the service is provided without an uptime commitment or service-level agreement during this period. We’ll work to keep the service reliable and to give notice of significant changes, but you should not rely on beta Keelix as a system of record.

Keelix is free during the open beta. Paid plans and billing (through Stripe) will launch before general availability. We will give notice before any charges apply to your workspace, and you’ll be able to decline a paid plan and export your data first.

You can export everything in your workspace at any time, in open formats. When you delete a workspace or close your account, we delete the associated content within 30 days, as described in our privacy notice. Your data is tenant-isolated and never co-mingled with another customer’s.

Keelix is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any plan, mapping, or export it produces is complete or fit for a particular purpose. Decisions you make about your real identity systems remain your responsibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keelix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Because Keelix is provided free during the open beta, our total liability for any claim relating to the service during this period is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).

You may stop using Keelix and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to Keelix or other customers. On termination, the export and deletion terms above apply.

We may update these terms as the product evolves, including when we launch paid plans or name our operating entity at general availability. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and communicated by account notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

The governing law and venue for any dispute will be those of the jurisdiction in which the Keelix operating entity is established, to be specified in the full agreement published at general availability. For any dispute during the open beta, we ask that you first contact us at legal@keelix.app so we can try to resolve it directly.
